Registered Member of: BACP
Clare Myatt is insatiably curious about what makes us inspired, empowered and satisfied in life. This curiousity drew her to the world of human resources initially, followed by psychology. Clare has been working with clients to enhance their lives for the past fifteen years in both California and the UK. Partnering with her clients to reveal their dreams and aspirations, Clare uses her training in somatics to help shift insight into action.
Drawing on her skills as a body-centred psychotherapist and certified Master Somatic Coach, Clare works with executives (often in need of the “soft” emotional intelligence skills), singles and couples to enhance their relationship skills, and anyone invested in self-development and possibility. She also has a deep background in trauma and addiction, contributing "The Power of Somatics in Sobriety" to Being Human at Work by Richard Strozzi-Heckler, Ph.D.
Clare has degrees in law and psychology and is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychology. Born in the UK, Clare has spent almost twenty years since 1987 in the USA, being licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California and certified as a Master Somatic Coach by Strozzi Institute.
